Make the Most of Your Outdoor Space
Colorado summers are made for being outside. A hot tub under the stars, a backyard kitchen, string lights over the patio, a lit path to the front door. Outdoor electrical makes all of it possible, but it has to stand up to snow, sun, wind and water.
Simpson Electric wires outdoor spaces across Northern Colorado safely and to code. We'll help you plan power and lighting that looks great and lasts for years.

Hot Tub Wiring
Most hot tubs need a dedicated 240V circuit and an outdoor disconnect within sight of the tub. It has to be installed to code to keep you safe around water. We'll make sure your panel can handle the load, run the circuit and install the disconnect, so your tub is ready to fill when it's delivered.
Landscape and Security Lighting
The right outdoor lighting makes your home safer and more welcoming after dark. We install path lights, uplighting for trees and the front of your home, deck and step lighting, and motion lights for driveways and dark corners. Everything can run on timers or smart controls.
Heat Tape and Snowmelt
In the mountains and foothills, ice dams and frozen pipes are a real problem. We install heat tape on roofs, gutters and pipes and wire it safely, with GFCI protection and controls so it's not running when it doesn't need to. It's common for homes in Estes Park, Allenspark and Nederland.

Absolutely. We'll add weatherproof, GFCI-protected outlets wherever you need them.
Do outdoor lights hold up to Colorado weather?
The right ones do. We install fixtures and wiring rated for outdoor use.
Do you install heat tape?
Yes, on roofs, gutters and pipes. It's common in mountain homes.
